TRAIL BEGINS: At the end of Big Ridge Road #10034.TRAIL ENDS: At the junction with Stateline Driveway Trail #026, near the head of Sixth Creek. ATTRACTIONS: The Gannett Hills and wildlife. NOTE: Passenger cars and trailers are not recommended beyond the south drill hole (about 2 miles past the forest boundary gate).
Directions from Afton: Travel south on Hwy. 89 to State Hwy. 236. Go west on 236 to the 4-way stop at Fairview. Turn south onto County Road #140 (Bitter Creek) for 2.9 miles, then turn west through the double green metal gate. Continue on Big Ridge Road #10034 to the road end (the Big Ridge road passes through private property. Obtain permission from owners before passing through green gate.)
