TRAIL ENDS: At the junction with Bear Creek Trail #085 at McDougal Pass, side spur ends at summit of Cabin Creek Peak.

ATTRACTIONS: Attractions along this trail include the Cabin Creek Peak Fire Lookout, the scenic Salt River Range, and an excellent view of surrounding mountain ranges from the summit of Cabin Creek Peak.

NOTE: The trail follows Road #10350 for about 2 miles in Deadhorse Creek, and the Way Trail #079 for about 1/2 mile into Lower Cabin Creek. Watch for blazes and signs.

Directions from Alpine: Go southeast on Greys River Road #10038 to the Meadows Guard Station Road #10140. Follow the Guard Station Road west to the guard station and park. Follow the Covey Cutoff Trail #081 for 1/4 mile to a sign and the Cabin Creek Peak Trail on the left.

Covey Cutoff Trail - This trail was one of the original routes between the Star Valley and the Greys River. The trail is open to motorized trail vehicles.

Strawberry Creek Trail - This trail begins at the end of Strawberry Creek Road, east of Bedford, and leads into the Salt River Range, linking to several other trails.

Way Trail - This 49-mile long trail parallels the Greys River along the east side of the Salt River Range. It intersects many other trails making various route combinations possible.
