General Description

ROAD BEGINS: On Greys River Road #10138 at the mouth of Blind Bull Creek.

ROAD ENDS: At the crest of the Wyoming Range.

ATTRACTIONS: This road leads up Blind Bull Creek into the scenic Wyoming Range. It leads past Blind Bull Lake and past abandoned coal mines. It accesses the Wyoming Range National Recreation Trail.

NOTE: The road has a steep grade. Trailers are not recommended.

Directions from Alpine: Go south from Hwy. 89 on Greys River Road #10138, approximately 26 miles to the mouth of Blind Bull Creek. Watch for the sign identifying Blind Bull Creek.

Seasonal Information:
Normally Accessible: July through September (NOTE: See description for the Blind Bull/Merna Snowmobile Trail for Winter recreation use on Blind Bull Road.) .

Black Canyon - Blind Bull Trail - This trail leads from Black Canyon, on Greys River Road, to Blind Bull Lake, on Blind Bull Road.

Blind Bull/Merna Snowmobile Route - This trail is the only route over the Wyoming Range between the Greys River drainage and the Big Piney area.
