Divide Trail (Little Red Creek Trail junction to Pup Creek Trail)

TRAIL ENDS: Pup Creek Trail

ATTRACTIONS: This trail follows crest of Snake River Range, much of which is over 9000 feet in elevation and the views are spectacular from most of the ridge including Observation Peak at 9960 feet. From this portion of the trail, connections can be made to Indian Creek drainage, Lake Basin, Indian Peak and Red Peak. The trail starts at the intersection with northern terminus of Little Red Creek Trail and ends at Pup Creek Trail.

Directions from Jackson: Access from northern portions of the Divide Trail or from Dog Creek. (Follow Dog Creek Trail to second junction. Bear right to next junction at Little Dog Creek. Bear right again, following trail up Pup Creek to crest of ridge and Divide Trail.

Divide Trail (Mosquito Pass to Cottonwood Creek ro - This trail follows crest of Snake River Range maintaining an elevation of 9000 feet or better over large segments. This segment of the trail begins at Mosquito Pass and ends at Cottonwood Creek road.

Divide Trail (South Fork of Fall Creek Trail to Li - This trail follows the crest of Snake River Range where the views are spectacular. This segment of the trail begins at the South Fork of Fall Creek Trail and ends at the intersection with the Little Red Creek Trail.

Dog Creek Trail (#3069) - This trail has access to high ridges of Snake River ranges and connection to trails on the Targhee side. There are spectacular views of the surrounding area.

Little Dog Creek Trail - This trail leads from the Dog Creek Trail to the Divide Trail It provides access to the Snake River Range as well as connections to trails on the Targhee side. There are spectacular views of surrounding areas from ridgecrest trail.

Little Red Creek Trail - This trail has access to high ridges of Snake River Range and drainages beyond. There are spectacular views of surrounding areas.

Pup Creek Trail - This trail has access to Divide Trail and Snake River range as well as connections to trails on the Targhee side. It begins up Little Dog Creek Trail.

Red Creek (south) Trail - This trail has access to high ridges of Snake River Range and drainages beyond, with spectacular views of surrounding areas.
