General Description

TRAIL BEGINS: 0.4 miles up spur road heading NW from Hwy. 89 0.5 miles south of Wilson/Fall Creek road junction (Dog Creek Trailhead)

TRAIL ENDS: Little Red Creek Trail

ATTRACTIONS: This trail has access to high ridges of Snake River ranges and connection to trails on the Tracheae side. There are spectacular views of the surrounding area. This trail begins and ends at Little Red Creek trail

Directions from Jackson: Take Hwy. 89 south to Hoback Junction. Bear right, continuing along Snake River past Wilson/Fall Creek road turn - off approx. 0.5 miles to Dog Creek road. Turn right and follow the unimproved dirt road north to fork. Take left across bridge and continue on to hunting camp and trailhead.

Divide Trail (Little Red Creek Trail junction to P - This trail follows crest of Snake River Range where the views are spectacular. This segment of the trail leads from the Little Red Creek Trail junction to the Pup Creek Trail Junction.

Little Dog Creek Trail - This trail leads from the Dog Creek Trail to the Divide Trail It provides access to the Snake River Range as well as connections to trails on the Targhee side. There are spectacular views of surrounding areas from ridgecrest trail.

Pup Creek Trail - This trail has access to Divide Trail and Snake River range as well as connections to trails on the Targhee side. It begins up Little Dog Creek Trail.

Wolf Creek - Dog Creek Cut - off Trail - This trail has access to high ridges of Snake River Range and drainages beyond. It creates potential for several different loop trips in and around Wolf Creek. The fork connects directly with Red Pass.

Wolf Mountain Trail - This trail has access to Wolf Mountain area and high ridges of Snake River Range. There spectacular views of surrounding areas.
