TRAIL BEGINS: 1 mile up Wolf Creek along Wolf Creek TrailTRAIL ENDS: At intersection with Little Red Creek - Lake Basin Trail on ridge between Red Peak and Indian Peak, near Peak 9708. ATTRACTIONS: This trail has access to high ridges of Snake River Range and drainages beyond, there are spectacular views of surrounding areas from the ridgecrest. The trail also creates potential for several different loop trips in and around Wolf Creek. Because this trail can be overgrown, some bushwhacking and route finding may be necessary.
Directions from Jackson: Follow Hwy. 89 south approximately 18 miles to Wolf Creek. Park here and follow Wolf Creek Trail to junction. Dry Fork Trail follows left (west) fork of canyon. Trail is overgrown and otherwise obscured.
