LOCATION: 25 miles southeast of Pinedale at Boulder Lake. (approximately 45 minutes driving time)
ATTRACTIONS: Boulder Lake Trailhead is located right outside of this campground and a large parking area is available. A commercial resort is located nearby. There is a boat ramp located on the lower end of the lake.
NATURAL SETTING: This campground is situated along Boulder Creek and borders Boulder Lake. Sites are among lodgepole pines, aspens and willows. The surrounding area is covered with sagebrush and rock over rolling hills. Some sites offer a view of the lake.
FACILITIES: Picnic tables, fire grates, vault toilets, some trailer pull-throughs, tent pads. NO drinking water or refuse containers are available. Pack out what you pack in. There is a corral located at a nearby trailhead.
Directions from Pinedale: Travel south on Hwy. 191 to Hwy. 353. Follow to Boulder Lake Road. Follow Boulder Lake Road to the campground. It is a total of 25 miles from Pinedale to the campground. The last 8 miles are dirt road.
