Nearby is Elk Meadow which offers Wildlife viewing frequently. Next to sites 3 and 4 is scenic overlook. Overlook has view of Mcgowan Park and Stanley Lake. Artist frequently visit overlook to paint pictures. 75 sites No pay phone in campground.Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. All single sites have a maximum number of 8 people and 2 vehicles. Multiple sites have a maximum of 16 people and 4 vehicles.
Directions: From I-10, take Exit 166. 4.5 miles west of Stanley, ID on highway 21. Turn on Stanley Lake Rd.and drive 3 miles on paved road,FS 455. 1 mile further to boat launch and hiking trails.
