Wolf Creek Campground is a newer facility located on the north shore of Union Valley. Popular activities include sailing, boating, swimming and fishing. The closest boat ramp is at Yellowjacket campground. Firewood is sold at the campground. This facility does have some first serve sites. For local information call the Eldorado Information Center at (530)644-6048*Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. * A per day per vehicle fee will be collected at the campground beginning with the 3rd vehicle. No refunds are given for bad weather. Vehicles park in developed areas only. No ATVs or ORVs allowed. A trailer or an RV plus a tow vehicle counts as 1 vehicle. CAUTION: Bears and other wildlife are frequent in this area. All food should be properly stored.
Directions: Highway 50 east of Placerville 21 miles to Icehouse Road, left 21 miles to turnoff. Go 3/4 of a mile to campground.
