General Description

GENERAL INFORMATION: This 4WD road replaces the closed Lockwood Creek Trail. The Lockwood Trail climbs out of the Lockwood overflow area and follows the ridge providing spectacular views, as well as challenging steep pitches. Terminating at Sunset Camp, the trail connects Lockwood Creek Road, Miller Jeep Road, Yellowjacket Canyon Trail, and Piru Creek Trail.

Directions from Lake of the Woods: Travel south on 9N03 for 7 miles and turn east (left) on a short paved road, coming to a dirt road that leads to Lockwood Route if you continue south.
