General Description

GENERAL INFORMATION: Primarily motorcycle trail, but first three miles from Halfmoon Campground are four wheel drive also. Trail follows Piru Creek. Dead-end route for four-wheel drives. Motorcycles may connect with Lockwood Trail, Miller Jeep Road, Grade Valley Road and Gold Hill/Alamo Mountain Road.

Directions from Lake of the Woods: Travel south on Forest Road 9N03 about thirteen miles to the junction with Forest Road 7N03. Drive on 7N03 for 6 miles and follow it as it bears east (left) and continue another 2 miles to the trailhead.
