Nettle Springs Campground is located at the end of Apache Canyon Road (FS 8N06) in a pinyon shaded area. The camp has nine sites with tables, fire rings, vault toilets, and RV slips long enough for "short" RVs. The site is open all year on a first-come, first-served basis. The dirt road to the campground is passable by passenger vehicle.
Directions from Taft, CA: Travel 8 miles south on Highway 33. Continue south for 13 miles after Highway 33 joins Highway 166. Turn south to stay on Highway 33 and travel about 15 miles to Apache Canyon Road (FS 8N06). Turn east and travel to the end of the road and the campground.
