Report: Two families camped at Troy Mdw Overflow for 3.5 days and rode motorcycles on numerous trails. Kids ranged from 9-17. My 13 yrs old and our 17 yrs old rode many of the trails, including Troy Mdw/ Fish Creek/Beach Ridge. Terrain is fairly technical single track with numerous rocks and trees. Experience was GREAT! During one ride, which lasted two hours, we only saw 3 other riders. So, not too crowded! Crazy drive up the mtn from Ridgecrest area, road is very steep, especially with a toyhauler!
Conditions: Dry, sandy, rocky, lots of trees, and even more mosquitos!
Water Availability: Brought our own water, but there is a hose-bib for fresh water in Troy Mdw Overflow. No dump facilities at campground(and Grumpy's was full)
