General Description

The trail begins off the Albanita Trail west of Granite Knob and connects with the Jackass Peak Trail. Best suited for intermediate riders due to rocky, steep sections.

Directions from Kernville: Travel north about 16 miles on Mtn. 99 and turn right (east) onto Sherman Pass Rd. (22S05) and travel about 24 miles to FS 21S03 continuing north about 3 miles to FS 21S36, trail begins 1 1/2 mile past Powell Meadow off of Road 21S36.

Albanita Trail - From Jackson Peak to Beach Meadow, this trail has several steep sections that make is best suited for the intermediate rider.

Blackrock Mountain Motorized Trail - Connects the Osa Meadow area to the Granite / Broder Trail and offers a variety of scenic vistas. This trail was constructed and funded by the "Green Sticker" Program. Enjoyable riding for beginners as well as intermediate riders.
