General Description

This trail begins at Fish Creek Campground. It parallels the east side of Jackson Meadow and ends near Jackass Peak at the Albanita Trail. A steep section makes is a challenge for beginners.

Directions from Kernville: Travel 54 miles northeast on Mtn. 99 and Sherman Pass Rd. (22S05), or 32 miles west of Highway 395 via Nine Mile Canyon Rd. (J41).

Fish Creek Campground - The Fish Creek camp offers forty campsites including twelve suitable for RV's up to twenty-seven feet, restrooms, piped well water and no trash collection.
