General Description

Dowville Picnic Ground is one of many located on Huntington Lake. Picnic grounds, campgrounds and the lake itself make up the Huntington Lake Recreation Area, which is at an elevation of 7,000 feet. It provides much entertainment year round. The picnic ground itself has 5 sites. There is drinking water and facilities available there. Because of its location, there is also swimming at the picnic ground.

Directions from Fresno: Take Highway 168 north 70 miles to the lake. Dowville PG is located on the southwest side of the lake.

Normally Open: Spring through Fall .
