Report: Labor Day weekend 2009. Began our weekend being threatened by two rude, unfriendly ladies at entry. Camp moniter was the gestapo, including standing at entrance of group campsites to moniter people and sneaking around in woods to moniter people. Also watch people with binoculars from office area. No motors allowed on lake. Spoke with many other campers while there and got the same opinion from them. Store was practically empty at all times. Never would I recommend this campground to anyone, ever! For no other reason that you are treated like trash by camp personel. Go down the road to Sugar Pine and have a great time.

Report: The Cranky camp host is gone. Kay and Pete are great and were quick to remove people shooting off the fireworks. Camp sites were clean and quiet. Lake was quaint.
Conditions: Sunny with a light breeze.... Could use more trees to shade the sites.
Water Availability: Plenty of water spouts with pottable water.... Showers were a blessing! No Electricity

Report: A suggestion to the next person. Make sure you ask questions as where you can fish and cant, get it in writing.. We asked for a campsite near the water where we can fish, they recommeded #22, well guess what it is a swimming beach site and NO fishing...... Then when confronted said the staff never said it was a fishing site. Yes she did..... So to cover one staff members error, they lied to cover a lie. We will never go back there again. To camp/fish or whatever. To pay $10.00 a day per person from dawn to dust to fish, pay $6.00 an hr to rent one of their boats and 10 minute shower time, plus paying $25.00 a night to just camp is a bit to much.. So be sure you are getting what you want..
Conditions: Windy all the time and a cold wind at that.My husband never took his jacket off in two days.

Report: This place has the camp hosts from HELL! They were finding stuff to get after us and our kids about. My kids got a belly ache everytime they saw the camp host's red truck! Us and one other family were the only ones there during a 4 day stay during 4th of July weekend, now I know why!!!! If you too have had a bad experience here and would like to write the actual owner, here is his information: Ralph NarDoni PO Box 1493 Foresthill, CA 95631
Conditions: Lake was pretty, but not worth dealing with the Ass that runs the place! Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!!

Report: The worst Memorial Day weekend of my life!!, Camp host, NOT!!!!!! My kids thought this guy was something else. Yelled at them for placing garbage in cans.I will never spend my money there again.
Conditions: Campsites are O.K. The Lake is Great for kids unless they are gettting yelled at. Again Camp Host is a JERK!
Water Availability: Lots of water. Some water valves are acually in some of the campsites, a little strange.
