This campground is on Stampede Lake. A $5 fee for each additional vehicle after 1 will be collected at the campground. Many sites will not accommodate extra vehicles. No hunting, no chainsaws. No refunds for bad weather. No all-terrain or off-highway vehicles allowed. Boat trailers must be parked legally. Complete rules are available at the campground office or on bulletin boards in the campground. We value your comments. Directions: From Truckee, California, take Highway 80 east 10 miles to the Hirschdale Road exit. Follow Hirschdale Road 8 miles north to the Stampede Reservoir. Check in at entrance station.
