Soda Peaks Lake Trail This is located in the southwest corner of the Trapper Creek Wilderness. The trail begins at Forest Route 54 then crosses and climbs into Trapper Creek Wilderness to a saddle. From the saddle, the trail switchbacks down to Soda Peaks Lake, which is in a glacial-carved cirque. The trail skirts the lake to the north and traverses the southern portion of the wilderness before intersecting with Trapper Creek Trail #192.
Directions from Carson: Travel north on the Wind River Highway (County Route 30) to the Wind River Work and Information Center. At the center, pick up Forest Route 43 west to Primary Forest Route 54. Follow 54 northwest for approximately 12-13 miles to the trailhead.
