General Description

Despite only three camp sites, the Camp Windy Campground provides marvelous views and a lush blanket of wildflowers that cover the large meadow. Huckleberries in season are also an added attraction in addition to hiking and backpacking opportunities.

Directions from Tygh Valley: Travel west on Primary Forest Route 48 across the forest boundary. Continue on 48 for approximately an additional 9-10 miles to Forest Road 4880. Follow 4880 north for approximately two miles to Forest Road 4881. Follow 4881 west to Forest Road 4891. Follow 4891 north, about a mile and a half past Bonney Meadow Campground, to Forest Road 3550. Follow 3550 northeast about one mile to the campground.
