General Description

The popular and scenic Badger Creek Trail #479, begins at Bonney Crossing Campground and ends just over 12 miles upstream beyond Badger Lake. Badger Lake offers good fishing.

This trail is fairly easy as its elevation gain is only 2,200 feet in the first 11 miles (to Badger Lake). Please remember that there are no motorized vehicles or mountain bikes permitted on this wilderness trail. The campground offers a good horse facility.

Directions from Wamic: Access the trail at Bonney Crossing Campground by going west on Road 48 to Road 4810 (near Camp Cody). Follow 4810 to Road 4811, to Road 2710. Follow Road 2710 east to Bonney Crossing Campground.
