Located across from the Brown Creek Campground, this half mile loop nature trail along the shoreline of a beaver pond offers glimpses of water fowl and aquatic animals. Access is graded "moderate" due to an eight percent grade. The trail surface is compacted, crushed gravel.
Directions from Hoodsport: Travel 7 miles south on US Highway 101 to Skokomish Valley Rd. Drive west on Skokomish from the George Adams State Fish Hatchery and continue on this county road for approximately 5 miles to Forest Service Rd 23. Turn right onto 23 and drive 9 miles to FS 2353. Drive south for approximately 3/4 miles to the South Fork Skokomish River Bridge. Cross the bridge and make a sharp turn to the right onto FS 2340. Brown Creek Campground is located 1/4 miles beyond this point.
