General Description

Snowberry Bowl Campground is located southwest of Twenty Five Mile Creek State Park at an elevation of 2,000 feet. Snowberry has 9 tent sites with tables and fire rings. There are 7 single sites and 2 double sites Nearby trails such as the North Fork Twenty-Five Mile Creek, Lone Peak, and Pot Peak Trails are on site and open to hikers, backpackers, stock riders, and mountain bikers. Fees apply, please see Forest Service website for updated fees.

Directions from Chelan: Travel west on U.S. 97 for approximately 3 miles to a junction. Stay right and follow the Lake on Forest Road 23 north to Twenty Five Mile Creek State Park. The campground is located 3.7 miles SW of 25-Mile State Park on Road #5900.

Lone Peak Trail - This trail travels through pleasant pine forest and an old burn before dropping down steeply to junction with the North Fork 25 Mile Creek Trail.

North Fork 25 Mile Creek Trail - This trail begins on the Shady Pass Rd (5900) and follow the North Fork 25 Mile Creek for about 3 miles before climbing through fragrant Fir and Pine Forest to meet the Devil's Backbone Trail.

Pot Peak Trail - Although its only four miles from Snowberry Bowl Campground to the top of Pot Peak, the route is steep enough to be a challenging workout.
