Report: This is a wonderful camp site for anyone who wants to get away from the crowd. Typically only one to three other campsites are occupied. Hiking (easy trails), fishing, and canoing are available. Strongly recommend stopping at store at junction of 36 & 33 (if coming from Moulton or Hartselle) and getting map of national forest. Make a side trip to sipsy river, which is in the forest. It is beautiful. Bring a canoe if you have one.
Conditions: Lots of shade.
Water Availability: At camp ground, but not at each camp site.
