General Description

This trail traverses the eastern slopes of Talladega Mountain in the Cheaha Wilderness. It is a moderate 4 mile trail. It serves as a connector for the Pinhoti Trail.

Directions from Cheaha State Park: Travel north on the Talladega Scenic Drive (State Route #281) to its intersection with State Route #49. Travel State #49 south to Union Church. Turn right on Nubbin Creek Road and travel about 3 miles to the trailhead parking lot near the Shoal Creek-Nubbin Creek junction.
