Located in the northwest corner of the National Forest, Camel Lake provides parking and trail access to the Florida National Scenic Trail. It also offers campsites, drinking water, boating, fishing, swimming and a short interpretive trail. The one-mile trail travels around the lake offering sights of diverse habitats. Modern restroom facilities and water fountains provided.
Directions from Bristol, FL: Travel several miles south along State Route 12. Turn left (east) onto Forest Route 105. About a mile east is Camel Lake Rec Area.
