New Hogan Lake, 4,400 surface acres, providing flood protection, irrigation and recreation to the city of Stockton
New Hogan offers 189 campsites in its three developed campgrounds. Acorn East and Acorn West have hot showers and flush toilets while Oak Knoll is more primitive. A group campground is also available at Coyote Point. Seventy percent of these campsites and the group campground are available by reservation. Additionally, there are 30 boat-in campsites at Deer Flat available on a first-come, first-served basis from May through September.

New Hogan also offers an interpretive trail, amphitheater, bike trails, equestrian trails, fishing cleaning station, and more.

Directions from Stockton, CA: Acorn East & West Campgrounds: Go 30 miles east on Highway 26. Turn right on Hogan Dam Road. Go 1 mile. Follow signs.

Directions from Lodi, CA: Acorn East & West Campgrounds: Go 30 miles east on Highway 12. Turn right at Valley Springs. Go 1 mile on Hwy. 26. Turn left on Hogan Dam Road. Proceed 1 mile. Follow signs.

Directions from Stockton, CA: Oak Knoll Campground: Go 30 miles east on HWY 26. Turn right on Hogan Dam Road, half a mile prior to reaching Valley Springs. Proceed 1 mile to New Hogan Lake. Follow signs.

Directions from Lodi, CA: Oak Knoll Campground: Go 30 miles east on Hwy. 12. Turn right Hwy 26 at Valley Springs. Proceed 1 mile to Hogan Dam Road. Turn right and follow signs.
