(A brochure describing the route is available at this turn.) From Queen Valley the road descends slowly, on a bumpy and sandy path, into Pleasant Valley. It is five and a half miles from the paved road to Squaw Tank. This is where the loop begins. At Squaw Tank follow the road eastward. The loop is .6 miles long and leads through Pleasant Valley.

Directions from Oasis Visitor Center: Follow Utah Trail southward to a fork in the road. Bear right toward Jumbo Rocks Campground. Pass the campground and continue driving two miles to a side road leading southward. This is Geology Tour Road.
