Recreation Opportunities
Activity Remarks On Site
ICON Cold Water Fishing From Grizzly Creek to Rifle the Colorado offers many fine fishing opportunities for very large fish. This section receives relatively light pressure due to the fact that it is most popular to float it, but wade fishing is still very effective. The summer and fall in this section of river can have red hot fishing.
ICON Rafting & Kayaking This is the perfect section of river for the intermediate to beginner rafter or kayaker. The Grizzly Creek, No Name, and Shoshone take-outs are the most popular. This section of the river has many different faces from the high walls of Glenwood Canyon to the open space below Glenwood Springs.
