Sunlight Mountain Resort is located in western Colorado, near the town of Glenwood Springs, and is an affordable alternative to nearby Vail and Aspen. Sunlight is a fun and quiet mountain with a western flavor and hundreds of acres of terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Playful dips and bumps are distinguishing features of many novice and intermediate trails. Sunlight Extreme is home to one of the steepest and craggiest trails in the state, plunging more than 50 degrees to Four Mile Creek below.Sunlight Mountain also has over 10-miles of groomed cross-county track in the White River National Forest. Directions from Denver: Take I-70 to the Glenwood Springs exit #111. Sunlight Mountain Resort is located 10 miles south of Glenwood Springs.
