Loveland Ski Area has been a favorite of Colorado Front Range skiers for decades. Great snow, reasonable prices, easy access to Denver and more than 1365 acres of varied terrain has kept the faithful coming back for over 60 years. Located along I-70 on the east side of the Eisenhower Tunnel and Loveland Pass, Loveland is one of the most easily accessible ski areas from the Denver area. There is no lodging at Loveland. The nearest lodging is located either in Georgetown, 12 miles east, or in Silverthorne, 12 miles west.

Beginners enjoy the feel of a separate base area with milder slopes at Loveland Valley. First time skiers start in the Loveland Valley because it has great beginner terrain away from advanced enthusiasts. Skiers and boarders looking for more aggressive terrain are likely to show up at Loveland Basin, where steeps, bumps and glades team up with wide open bowls. Chair 9 is a new high-speed quad that provides access to the chutes and ridges along the Continental Divide.
