Fresh tracks at Powderhorn
Powderhorn Resort is located in the mountains of western Colorado, thirty-five miles east of Grand Junction. Powderhorn offers a classic skiing experience. It offers lots of snow, uncrowded slopes, free parking and affordable lift tickets. Whether you're an advanced skier looking for steeps and bumps or a beginner looking for a first time lesson, you can find it at Powderhorn. If you don't like the idea of sliding on the snow, try the Crescent Moon Snowshoe Center. There are snowshoes to rent and access to upper and lower trails. If you can walk, you can snowshoe.

Directions from Grand Junction: Take I-70 east to exit #47. Follow Hwy 65 east to Powderhorn.
