General Description

Hanamaulu Beach Park lies north of Lihue on the waters of Hanamaulu Bay. The beach is protected by the deep bay, but often the water is polluted and murky. The beach park is comprised of six acres on which there is camping and full facilities. This site is used mainly by locals. Facilities include: picnic tables, two pavilions, grills, outdoor showers and restrooms.

Directions from Lihue: Follow Highway 56 north to Hanamaulu Road. Turn makai onto Hanamaulu Road and follow it to Hehi Road. Turn right on to Hehi Road and follow it to the beach park.
