Beginning January 1, 2002, Reserve America will no longer be accepting reservations for the group shelters in Outlet Park. Contact the Tuttle Creek Lake visitor center at (785)539-8511 to make your reservations. Tuttle Creek Lake is a 12,500 acre reservoir located in the northern Flint Hills of Kansas, in the heart of the tallgrass prairie. Outlet Park is a popular day use area located below Tuttle Creek Dam. It boasts six group shelters, a water-borne comfort station, four playgrounds, and a mile long nature trail.The shelters are open year-round. Shelters can be reserved for a flat fee of $25/day, regardless of length of stay. Two shelters have electricity. There is no additional charge for these amenities. The shelter closes at midnight. Parking is limited, so car-pooling is encouraged.
