General Description

At 8,571 feet, Park Point is the highest point in the Mesa Verde National park. There is a ranger stationed at the fire lookout tower at the top. The four surrounding states; Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, are visible from this point.

Directions from Morefield Campground: About 6 miles from Morefield campground on the right side of the road.

Seasonal Information:
Normally Open: Mid-April through Late October .
