Petroglyph Point
Petroglyph Point Trail leads to a small cliff ruin and a rock face carved with petroglyphs. A guide booklet is available at the museum.

Directions from Headquarters: Loop Trail departs from the South side of the Museum

Report: Starts out fairly easy but quickly becomes more challenging. Trail runs on a ledge on the side of a cliff (hence the visit to a cliff dwelling along the way). Return to mesa top is via very steep exposed rock steps. Absolutely not for anyone with fear of heights.

Report: Temperature around 80-85 degrees, so it was very comfortable hiking. See these petroglyphs before the sandstone wears away!
