Cedar Point Campground is located on a small peninsula in the St. Lawrence River, just a short distance from the small town of Clayton. There are 173 tent and RV sites packed into the 46-acre parcel. Potable water is found throughout the park, convenient to all sites. There are 3 restroom units, a horseshoe and playground area, a swimming beach along the eastern shore, a bathhouse, abundant boat docks, a full-service marina, a boat launch and recreation building. Bicycling is permitted on park roads. Duck hunting is enjoyed; permitted required. A picnic area near the swimming beach is offered along with a reservable pavilion. The campground is open May through mid-October.
Directions from Clayton, NY: Travel 12 miles southwest on SR 12E. The park is located on a jut of land on the St. Lawrence River. Campsites are throughout the park with numbers 6-20 being closest to the water.
