General Description

Located along the banks of Lake Welch, Beaver Pond Campground offers 146 sites for tents and RVs. No electric hookups. The maximum RV length is 40 foot. There are 55 tent platforms sites. The 25-acre park has camping throughout the park with potable water, hot showers and flush toilets conveniently located. Recreation programs, hiking trails, swimming at Lake Welch (not in the lagoon), a boat launch, bathhouse, picnic area and paddleboat rental are enjoyed at this year-round facility. Registered snowmobiling permitted in winter. This campground even offers a laundry facility.

Directions from Stony Point, NY: Take County Road 106 west for 5 miles. Tent sites, trailer sites and tent platform sites are found scattered throughout the 25-acre park.

Report: this was really crowded and I felt like I was at Time Square on New Years Eve. Scenery was great, but the crowds were unruly.
