Excellent trout fishing is available in Hyner Run, both brook and brown trout are stocked annually; and native brook trout inhabit the upper reaches of Hyner Run. Numerous other mountain streams provide excellent trout fishing, and the nearby right branch of Young Womans Creek provides a fly fishing area. All within a relatively short distance of the park.
Directions from Renova, PA: Travel east on SR 120 approximately 6 miles turning left on Hyner Run Road which takes you directly into the park. You may park at either parking location to reach Hyner Run or park in the first lot to reach Log Road Hollow Run.
