General Description

Two camping areas along Kettle Creek provide a total of 81 tent and trailer sites. Camping is permitted from early April through deer season in December. All sites include a picnic table, fire ring and level gravel pad. Water hydrants, non-flush toilets and a sanitary dump station are available nearby. A variety of sunny and shaded sites are available in both campgrounds. Pets are not permitted in the campground. There are 20 sites with electric hookups in Area 2. Area 1 has two sites with electric for people with disabilities.

Directions from Renovo, PA: Travel west on SR 120 approximately 8 miles turning right (north) onto SR 4001. Travel about 8 - 10 miles to the park entrance. Campgrounds are located in the southern portion and northern portion off the main park road.

ICON Fishing The excellent water quality along Kettle Creek provides good fishing for all ages and types of anglers. Both Kettle Creek and Ole Bull Run offer fishing for brook, brown and rainbow trout.

ICON Lodging This one and half story log cabin is available for rent throughout the year. Rental information can be obtained at the park office. The cabin has a modern kitchen and bath and sleeps 10 people. Pets are prohibited. The cabin has an accessible bathroom and access for the people with disabilities is through the back entrance.

ICON Swimming & Waterplay A guarded 150-foot sandy beach along Kettle Creek is open 11 am to 7 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, unless otherwise posted. The beach is located in Camping Area 1 across from the picnic area. Food, beverages and pets are not permitted in the beach area. All children 9 years of age and younger must be supervised by a responsible adult. Parking for the beach area is provided at the picnic area parking lot.
