Picnicking is provided in three areas containing approximately 150 tables. Most tables are shaded and a limited number of charcoal grills are provided for public use. A play field, playground and horseshoe pits are available in the picnic area. Four picnic pavilions are available for reservation for group and family use. Anglers enjoy the table-side fishing in Rauch Creek. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission stocks the creek regularly during the spring. Hiking trails totaling 1.08 miles provide easy hiking the length of the park and connect with trails including the Mid-State Trail on state forest land. Trails within the park are marked and maintained. Several of the trails on state land are extremely steep and over rocky terrain. Proper attire and good physical condition are recommended for your comfort and safety.
Directions from Jersey Shore, PA: Travel SR 880 southeast for 8 miles to reach the park OR from Carroll, travel 8 miles north, (Exit 28 on I-80).
