Report: Nice campground. Good views from certain campsites. (some sections were closed for the season). The campsites were a little close together, and the tent pads were too small for two 2-person tents.
Conditions: Good weather (October), so no bugs. Plenty of shade. Campground is very well kept. A nice (short) hike to the Colorado river trail head is nearby.

Report: This was a very overly populated campsite. The charge for one night's stay was $20.00. There are people and RV's and tents wherever you look as well as, children crying, dogs barking, and RV generators running. We won't be back.
Conditions: Lots of mosquitos and noise. Well shaded campsites, though.
Water Availability: Plenty of drinking water to be had.

Report: Timber Creek is an excellant place to stay or even a great place to take a break! It has cleaner facilities than I have ever had at a motel.I'm very serious. They come around 2 or 3 times per day to sell you fire wood and a small town is only 5 miles away. In fact, I'm taking or leading my cousin there this summer on our motorcycles. I know he'll love it.
Conditions: Perfect amount of shade, no mudd, no bugs,(for real), water at every site, friendly help, flat areas for your tent and/or trailor
Water Availability: Plenty, there is a hydrant near every site.
Yes, plenty of H2O.
Yes, there is water at of course Estes Park, then at the sovenier shop on top, and then at the camp grounds

Report: Just wanted to make a comment about some incorrect info. regarding the acceptance of reservations at Timber Creek Campground. They are NOT accepted, but credit cards will be a payment possibility starting in the Spring! And the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park, including Timber Creek Cmpground is one of the best kept secrets around, especially very early or late in the summer season.

Report: I attempted to camp in early May, during the times the Los Alamos fires were raging. It was so windy, my tent blew away (in short, it sucked).
