General Description

Glacier Basin Campground Entrance off Bear Lake

Glacier Basin Campground is located on the east side of the Park, on Bear Lake Road, south of the Beaver Meadows Entrance Station. It is a large campground and reservations are accepted for the summer months. The campground is very close to the shuttle bus pickup for Bear Lake.

FACILITIES: Glacier Basin has 150 campsites. Facilities include tables, fire rings, public telephones, toilets and a dump station. Firewood, drinking water and ice are available during the summer months.

Directions from Estes Park: Travel west on Hwy 34 to the Beaver Meadows Entrance Station. Just west of the Entrance Station, head south on Bear Lake Road. Follow this road toward the Bear Lake Trailhead, to the campground.
