Wild Basin Picnic Grounds
The Wild Basin Picnic Ground is located on the southeast side of the park, at the Wild Basin Trailhead. It has eight tables but no fire grates. The nearby trailhead accesses Copeland Falls, Calypso Cascades, Ouzel Falls, Ouzel Lake, Bluebird Lake and Thunder Lake.
Directions from Estes Park: Travel south on Hwy 7 to the turnoff to the Wild Basin Trailhead, between Meeker Park and Allenspark, to the west of the Highway. The picnic ground is located at the Wild Basin trailhead.

Wild Basin Picnic Ground
Bluebird Lake Trail - This is a long hike to a scenic lake. It begins at the Wild Basin Trailhead and leads past Copeland Falls, Calypso Cascades, Ouzel Falls and Ouzel Lake on the way to Bluebird Lake.
Calypso Cascades Trail - This is a short, easy hike on the southeast side of the park. It leads from the Wild Basin Trailhead past Copeland Falls reaching the roaring Calypso Cascades.
