Report: We did this trip in September of 1999. This was a very pleasant trip. The colours of the scub oak were spectacular. The views over Denver and the front range were impressive, framed early in the climb by the red sandstone of the cliffs within Roxborough. We saw some hawks from the trail swooping and diving each other allowing us some great photo ops. I have heard that this is a moderate-difficult trail but I found that there was no problem and I am not an experienced hiker by any means.
