General Description

This is a connector trail between Twentymile Creek Trail and Wolf Ridge Trail forming a 6.3 mile hike. The loop travels along the Moore Springs Branch which can be dangerous during the rainy season. This entire area was once a thriving logging community.

Directions from Fontana Lake, NC: Take SR 28 west to the Twentymile Ranger Station. Begin on Twenty Mile Creek Trail from behind ranger station. When this trail forks, you may travel either direction to access Twentymile Loop Trail.
