General Description

Wolf Ridge Trail is very strenuous as it follows a high ridge. There are switchbacks to ease the ascension. Primitive camping is available along the route along with fishing in the Moore Springs Branch.

Directions from Fontana Lake, NC: Take SR 28 west to the Twentymile Ranger Station. Begin on Twenty Mile Creek Trail from behind ranger station. When this trail forks, bear left to reach Wolf Ridge Trail.
