General Description

The Martin Gap Trail is a 2.7 mile connector trail between Deep Creek and Sukota Ridge Trail. The trail is both a horse trail and foot path. The trail crosses Indian Creek twice where you will see old American Chestnut and hemlock and rhododendron.

Directions from Bryson City, NC: Travel 2 miles north on Deep Creek Road. Begin on Deep Creek bearing left at the fork to reach Martin Gap Trail.
