Longview Park has great appeal to those who enjoy a quiet, family oriented recreation area. Non-electric campsites are located right along the shoreline, which offer a great view of the lake along with wonderful sunsets. Electric sites are located in a heavily wooded area on the top of a bluff, which overlooks the lake. The campground is located adjacent to Apple Valley Farm, a dinner theatre and bar which offers fun and laughter through old-fashioned melodramas throughout the summer season. The Perry Hiking Trail also transects this park, making the Longview Group Camp site a perfect stop for hikers and backpackers.* Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends 3 night minimum on holidays * The campground is open May 1 - Sept. 30th. Sites are $10-$14/night. The Group Camp area is $30/night. A boat ramp is located adjacent to the camping area, which is handicap accessible. Visitor fees of $4.00 are in effect on weekends and holidays. The campsite fees are only applicable for a single camping unit, which is defined as anything you sleep in, be it a tent, camper or vehicle. Children under the age 16 living at home with the adults who have registered for the site are not charged for small tents that they may sleep in. Any camping units set up by other adults are subject to a second fee, which shall be equal to the regular site fee.
