Trip Itinerary: Hike, Mountain Bike, Raft, Ride
Horseback, Rock Climb and Canyoneer in Utah's Canyonlands
Utah's Canyonlands is an adventurer's desert paradise!
With a magical landscape of wind-sculpted rock and colorful
canyons, the region offers a dizzying variety of outdoor
exploration options. Our Multi-Sport Adventure will introduce
you to today's most popular up and coming activities:
canyoneering, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, rock
climbing and exploratory hiking. No prior experience necessary
– just bring a brimming smile and an appetite for adventure!
Days 1-2 Moab-Canyonlands. Explore the Island
in the Sky District, featuring lofty far-reaching views of the
sinuous canyons carved by the Colorado and Green Rivers. Our
ramblings feature geologically unique craters, amazing Mesa
Arch and the stunning panorama of the White Rim Overlook.
Experience the excitement of mountain biking on the Gemini
Bridges Trail or along the incomparable Monitor and Merrimac
Trail near Arches National Park.
Day 3 Colorado River-Fisher Towers. Raft the
rolling waters of the Colorado River. For thrill seekers, opt to
paddle your own inflatable kayak. Towering cliffs shoot skyward
from this grand river, dwarfing our small craft. We'll savor this
fresh new perspective of canyon country and gaze at riverside
monuments and buttes that we'll be hiking through this
afternoon!
Days 4-6 Moab-Arches. Explore Medieval Canyon
and experience two of the most spectacular places for rappelling
found anywhere. Enjoy the unique thrill and sense of satisfaction
that comes from canyoneering! Or strap on a climbing harness
and go vertical for an introduction to rock climbing, learning
easy maneuvers and possibly advancing to more challenging
climbs if you're up for it. Enjoy an optional free day to ride
horseback or soak up other resort activities. Hike in Arches
National Park, a fantasyland of balanced rocks, natural arches,
and surrealistic sculptures.
Adventure Lodge Highlights: Our home base is the
Red Cliffs Lodge and Resort, set in a stunning landscape
overlooking the Colorado River and surrounded by 2000' sheer
cliffs. Located near Moab, Utah and the gateway to Arches and
Canyonlands National Parks, Red Cliffs is our Adventure
Headquarters, complete with spectacular views, ultimate comfort
and style. Amenities include Colorado River facing rooms with
private patios and kitchenettes, a pool and spa with 360-degree
views and an option for your own personal masseuse. So relax &
enjoy newfound friends and the perfect balance of relaxation
and adventure.
